Sharon is Head of the Securitisation Team at Devonshires, having been in the Securitisation Team for 30 years. Her work involves advising clients on the property aspects of giving security and preparing asset and liability registers for RPs and RSLs.
Sharon and her team of over 40 staff members act for over 200 Registered Providers in connection with the property aspects of giving security and preparing asset and liability registers. Sharon’s experience includes the charging of properties to secure loan facilities, bonds and private placements of amounts varying from £1 million to £1 billion, dealing with large refinancing transactions and working on the property security side of mergers of RPs.
Sharon is ranked Band 1 in the latest edition of Chambers UK and is a tier 1 ranked lawyer in the 2024 edition of Legal 500 where she is admitted to the ‘Hall of Fame’
Julian is Head of Banking and Capital Markets at Devonshires and specialises in all aspects of finance made available to for profit and not for profit Registered Providers, including: bond issues (both wholesale and retail), private placements, syndicated and bilateral loans (sterling and other currencies), development finance loans, group refinancings in connection with mergers, intra-group lending and interest rate derivatives and related security.
He also advises on security trustee arrangements in connection with the group funding arrangements of Registered Providers including fundraisings on capital markets and property charging.
