A base level of mediation knowledge is assumed. This is an upskilling session for senior decision makers and those who regularly mediate. Juniors who plan to mediate their cases are very welcome too.
Format:
Rory will be discussing ADR in housing claims covering the advantages and different methods, and then looking at compulsory mediation and how landlords can deal with these changes.
Kirsten will be talking us through her recent experiences of mediations from a solicitor’s point of view.
Hannah will then speak on the practical side of a mediation and the process behind a successful mediation.
Laura will lastly divulge her top tips for preparation and getting the best out of the mediation day, with particular reference to landlord and tenant claims and what the mediator is looking for to facilitate resolution.
There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion at the end with the panel.
