Spotlight on…Alex Clarke

I completed my training contract and qualified as a Solicitor in 2016. Shortly after that, I moved to London and over the last 8 years, I have gained invaluable experience in all things property litigation.

I moved to Devonshires in November 2023 and since joining I have built up a varied caseload in property litigation and housing management matters from disrepair and possession claims to breaches of lease, fire safety issues, rights of light claims.

Being part of the Wales team at Devonshires, and having the opportunity to attend the ‘Devonshires and Cornerstone Barristers’ conference in Cardiff in April last year has given me a real insight into the Renting Homes (Wales) Act and the impact that it has had on landlords in Wales.

Outside of work I like to keep active by going to the gym and taking advantage of all London has to offer.
